We did it. We survived another Christmas! Thank God for sending his son and thank him that he only had one! Hopefully you had a blessed Christmas and you still have money in your bank account, your friends and family are still your friends and you received at least one gift you loved. If not just remember, you get to do it all over again next year.
Now put on your New Year's Party hat and get ready to have some fun! 2016 is gonna ROCK! Here are some helpful last minute Christmas shopping tips. Budget shopping is different for everyone because everyone's budget is different. What seems affordable to some seems impossible to others. Try using some of these Diva budget shopping ideas this Christmas. They may stretch the dollar for you too. 1. Multiple gifting. If you see something at a good price. Buy more than one. Heck buy 5 if you can. Don't let folks having the same gift bother you. 2. "Can we skip a year?" If you really don't have the money to buy your normal list of folks gifts, ask if you can skip the gift exchange this year. You can suggest that you give gifts every other year or maybe spend time together shopping for your family gifts and buy each other dinner or lunch. 3. Homemade is Handy Cookies, candy, cake, lasagna, spaghetti, fried chicken and the list can go on and on. Is there a favorite food that you make that is loved by the masses? Make it and give it as a gift. Now this method can get pricey if you over do the amount you make. You don't have to give the entire cake away. That's right! You can cut some perfect pieces and place them on a pretty dollar store plate for each member of a family. The same goes for every dish. Presentation is half the battle. 4. Handmade Coupons This is an old idea with a new twist. Make fake credit card coupons that can be redeemed for the receivers favorite affordable things. Some examples include, their favorite dish or restaurant meal, a day at the movies or maybe even a peaceful day home alone. The great part about this gift is you do not have to actually buy any thing until later. 5. Finally and this is my favorite A Rollin Delivery gift certificate. $8 and up! Yeah!!!!! Specify the dates the certificate can be used and you give yourself time to recover from the holidays. Popular days are birthdays and anniversaries, specific days of the week like Monday's or Friday's and a day marking a upcoming event you share with the recipient. Yep that's the Best Idea on Here.
