Last year my husband bought a gift home from one of his friends at work. It was an alcoholic drink and I am not much of a drinker so I was skeptical to even taste it. It has rum in it and it is so delicious. One more hint: The name translates to "little coconut". Guessed yet? My favorite holiday drink is coquito from Puerto Rico. If you ever get a chance to have it homemade, don't pass it up. (Unless you are not old enough to legally drink.) If you are feeling adventurous here is a receipt I found online. Give a sister a Call If it turns out to be yummy. Ingredients (link to allrecipes)
Pour the water, milk, rum, and coconut milk into a blender. Add the cinnamon and salt. Blend until well combined, then refrigerate for at least one hour, or until ready to serve. Karen aka The Delivery Diva Comments are closed.
