My how life has changed! This time last year, my biggest complaint was Daylight Savings time and it getting dark earlier. It’s all in perspective, I suppose. Christmas is a time of hope, a time of good cheer, and a time to reconnect with family and friends. That being said, for some people this can be overwhelming and a time of great sadness. This is where the story begins. We live in a small town of Salisbury with many admirable traits. I have had the good fortune to have partnered with Rollins Delivery. Karen has taken such good care of my customers in such a caring manner. But, this one particular December day, she helped me. You see, my mother was dying, my father was at her side, and I needed someone to pick up my Special Needs sister at her work because I was busy at The Medicine Shoppe. In complete desperation, I texted Karen. As a personal favor, she warmly accommodated my request and picked up my sister and brought her home. Presents come in different packages and different ways, for me that was the best Christmas present I received that season. Sometimes we need to spend time reflecting on the blessings of a small community. Thank you Karen and Rollins Delivery and I wish everyone a very Merry Christmas!
