How many gifts do you give your kids for Christmas? Do you try and have a lot of things for them to open? It is fun to see them tear the paper off and be surprised with what is inside. my-best-clients.html how-rollin-helps-clients-get-more-out-of-home-health-care.html christmas-2017-is-in-the-books-how-was-it-for-you.html I know this idea may just be too much for older children. They have already gotten use to opening lots of things for Christmas. It could possibly work if out of town relatives mail them gifts. That way they will still have more than one thing to open. But if you have a young child or are feeling adventurous with your older children at least once try a one gift Christmas. I bet you are asking why? What is the point? To be honest I love to question and challenge the status quo. What if all the things that you buy are doing you more harm than good? What if not spending the holidays shopping and stressing over what you will buy and give would actually be benefical to you and the receiver? The fact is, if you have never tried doing something different how would you know. Maybe buying less would give you more time to do things with you friends and family. You may experience less holiday stress. Your family may make new tradition. You may spend less money on the holidays. That is not necessarily true because with buying one gift you may buy something that cost more. The point is to use the time that you would spend running around buying things as time to spend with the people you love. Remember, that this is just an idea. It is an idea. Let me know in the comments if this is something you already do or if due to a difficult situation you did a one gift Christmas and the outcome. Here are today's bingo picks.
