I am not sure how other companies do it but if you and your comrades order from the same place at the same time you can split the delivery fee. This applies to multiple tickets that you had separated at the restaurant.
How Does It Work? You may ask.
Let's say that it is 5 of you at work and you all want to eat from Soups Up Imaginary Restaurant but no one wants to go get it.
You each could place your order with the restaurant and pay for it with 5 separate tickets.
State that it will be all picked up at the same time.
Make sure to put each person's name on each order.
General restaurant delivery is $8 + $1 for after the 2 separate order. That means with the five people $8 plus $3 = $11.00. Each person would pay $2.20.
If you are a member you can order delivery for you and your work buddies with your delivery being free and they pay only $1 per separate ticket.
I know AMAZING!
