The reason for the perks are my clients.
My most commonly requested errands are restaurant delivery followed by grocery shopping and delivery.
I knew my clients would benefit from a membership with perks that involved my most popular services.
Perk 1: 4 Restaurant Deliveries included- I know my clients love good food. I wanted to make sure that memberships were enticing by throwing in a way to use your membership even if you do not use any other services in a month.
Perk 2: Put Shopping Away - I know this may be a little odd to read if you have never used our service's. Sometimes our clients are not home when we deliver their grocery. Sometimes they are at home but they are busy or not able to put everything up without help. Once we know that we would make arrangements but the time sometimes throws us off schedule if it is not planned for in advance. Now we can actually plan for it and make other people aware that it is a possibility.
Perk 3: Checking on property mailbox - Just like the shopping perk, this is one that some clients already ask for and now we can plan our time for it much better. Some clients have regular boxes and we just check on the way in. Others have keys and we drop off, their items, get the key, check the box and then take any mail back.
So far people are really enjoying the perks!
They are also aware that they can cancel at any time.
Of Course, I hope they don't.

P.S. You do not have to be a member to order services.
How many times have you wanted something to eat or something from a store that delivers only to hear that you are out of the delivery range.
I know that can be super annoying.
When Jimmy John's first moved to my area, with there advertised speedy delivery, I called to give them a try.
Surprisingly, I was out of the delivery range.
There have been more take out boxes in the Rollinmobile than I could even count.
Our clients have tried all types of restaurants and food trucks.
But when the order is wrong, because things are left out or the food is cooked badly, it makes for a long day.
The restaurants I choose to go on this list are the ones that I go to most often that make very few if any mistakes.
It makes my job so much better.
I feel a sense of relief when my clients order from these places.
I know it is going to go very smoothly.

Rollin has used the pick lady as our logo for sometime now.
I drew her on my old ipad at the beginning of the journey.
I really do enjoy the logo but I think it is time for the design to grow up a little
What do I mean by that?
The pink lady logo is absent on lot of our products because she is hard to replicate.
The background colors and variety of other colors makes her mega expensive to print onto other items.
Often people do not realize what she is.
So even with the complicated coloring they still do not get the message of a lady on skates.
I was new to business when I drew her up and I think I missed the main point of a logo.
To be recognized and easy to remember.

When I first began Rollin I had my own preconceived ideas about why people would need my service.
I've learned a lot about the who and why of the people that use Rollin and it helps me improve the way I do things with every errand.
Here are just the top 3 reasons.
They are busy caregivers.
The term caregiver can mean a lot of things.
The caregivers that call on Rollin are typically taking care of loved ones.
Mostly parents and grandparents are the people that they are looking after.
Because they have jobs and families of their own, they are very busy.
They call on us to do a variety of things for them and their loved one they care for.
They can't leave work.
Sometimes clients are at work and it gets too busy for them to leave or they are in the middle of something at their break time.
Often the nature of their job does not really lend itself to leaving and going out
Whatever the reason, they are not able to leave work and they need something done before they get off.
Because they can
Often clients just want sometime to do nothing but enjoy their day.
They don't want to cook or run to the grocery store.
They don't feel like heading to the pharmacy.
They just want to relax, not only their body but their mind.
These are just the top 3 reasons.
There are tons of other reasons but these are the ones I hear the most.
Some clients say they wish they had of known about Rollin a long time ago.

I pulled into the driveway of a first time delivery client for The Medicine Shoppe Salisbury.
The nice lady met me outside and signed for her medication.
She said "you have the easiest job there don't you?
I explained how The Medicine Shoppe contracts with my Company to deliver to their clients and that I owned a courier company.
She responded: "Oh so you sell vacuum cleaners?"
People often ask what it is we do.
Sometimes I say "I run errands for people and business'es." Sometimes I use the short answer. "I am a courier."
No matter exactly how I answer, more questions always follow.
I love the questions and then starting a conversation about my services.
Often I make a new client and almost always I make a new friend.

When people make a special request I also do errands that are out of the scope of those listed. If time permits.
Deliver office supplies by box truck to South Carolina.
Transport a special glue to a trampoline park in Tennessee.
Check in on an elderly couple with family far off.
I always tell my clients to just ask. If I am unable to help I try and find someone who can.
Maybe I should try and sell some vacuum cleaners at each delivery too!

Some of my clients have schedules that would make the President need a nap.
They often tell me that I just don't understand how busy they are.
Something about giving people back even a little peace of mind makes me so happy.
Sometimes when they call I can hear the stress in their voice.
Often people explain to me what is going on and why they need help so badly.
I feel for them.
I know that life can throw in so many roadblocks.
From sickness to car trouble.
When deadlines move or prescriptions run out.
I get to help!
I get to make someones life run smoother.

Father's Day is fast approaching.
In the picture to the right, me and my Dad are celebrating our birthday which is on the same day.
He passed away in Feb. of 2018.
I miss him a ton but we shared so many fun moments together.
He encouraged all of my dreams and was always one of my biggest supporters.
