Reflecting on how Covid-19 has affected Rollin and the future

11/17/2020

Covid-19 bust onto the scene in 2020 and changed everything.
I don't know of any person or any business that is
not dealing with the repercussions of this virus.
I wanted to share my story of how the virus
has impacted Rollin.

It seems like I am on a huge ferris wheel.
Things are going around and around without really getting to a stopping point.
Rollin continues to provide no touch delivery.
Some of our favorite clients, we have not seen in person since this all started.
Of course we appreciate the fact that we are still able to provide service.
We just miss them and they are missing everyone.

Rollin has experienced busy times and slow times that are different from what was normal before the virus.
While we have gained some new clients it has been at about 1/2 the rate as before.
Personal clients that we already had are still active but not as often.
Some of that has to do with people buying more then they normally would in fear of items being sold out if they waited.
They also want to minimize the amount of contact with the outside.
We are so glad that they are taking active steps to stay healthy.

Our local business clients have really helped keep us Rollin.
They have been around for longer than us and have established customers that we now serve as well.
It has been great to help them stay in profitable while also helping their clients and ourselves.

There are 2 projects I started, thinking that  all of this would be over by now.
  • My Catering program has not taken off at all and I am not really sure when or if it will.
  • The business advertising sheets were in the works for a while and  when it came time to release it, good, old Covid was still dangling around.
Anyone knows that if you own a business there are going to be some good days and some days that make you want to go back to bed.
The greatest blessing for Rollin has been that no one we serve has lost their life due to Covid 19.
It has been a whole lot and praying and for some of our clients a little fussing.

I hope and pray that if your business has been impacted by all of this you can find your footing and carry on.
Don't waste your time blaming anyone for anything.
Put all of your brain power into keeping your passion alive.

If you think offering local delivery to your clients will help you, Rollin is here for you.
Working with local business owners is a great part of this business.

I would love to know in the comments how Covid 19 is affecting your business.
