After seeing the slap heard around the planet on a nationally and maybe beyond televised show, I started thinking about the things in life we forget to clean up. Spring is a wonderful time to analyze the relationships in our personal lives and business. What does that have to do with the slap. When we let toxic people and situations build on top of each other, it creates moments of desperation. That desperation leads us to some pretty stupid decisions. Maybe there are some things that need to be evaluated on a regular basis.
Who and what areas of my life make me feel fulfilled? What part of my life could I work on to be of greater service to others? This is a question that I ask myself that is inspired by "The Minimalist": If this situation, relationship, business venture, etc. where to end for whatever reason right know, would I seek to replace it or rebuild it? Would I just let it go and maybe even feel a little relieved? If the answer is no, then decide whether to let it run its course or end it. Even after asking these questions, we may not be ready to act on them. That's okay. Just remember to at least find a way to work toward peace in your life. Spring is a great time to make things all pretty and fresh. Or to at least work in the right direction. Comments are closed.
