I am not sure how other companies do it but if you and your comrades order from the same place at the same time you can split the delivery fee. This applies to multiple tickets that you had separated at the restaurant or other retail location.
How Does It Work? You may ask.
Let's say that it is 5 of you at work and you all want to eat from Soups Up Imaginary Restaurant but no one wants to go get it.
You each could place your order online and pay for it with 5 separate tickets.
State that it will be all picked up at the same time.
Make sure to put each person's name on each order.
When we pick up all 5 will be charge you our regular plus $1 starting with the 3 order.
General restaurant delivery is $6 + $1 for order 3, $1 for order 4 and $1 for order 5.
The total delivery fee will be $9 but when you divide that amoung 5 people it is 1.80 each.
I know RiGHT AMAZING!
