"Cash is King" the saying goes. I totally agree but, carrying large amounts of cash as a delivery driver can be dangerous. That is just one reason that I stopped making change at deliveries. People are still welcomed to pay in cash. They can elect to put the remaining amount on their next order or leave it as a tip for the driver. Keeping change can be complicated. It is hard to keep up with the amount of change needed for each transaction without running out. There is no returning regularly to a main office like other delivery services. So far the change has not negatively affected my business. I assume because so many people have debit cards now with North Carolina being an electronic payment state. How do you typically pay for deliveries to your work or home? Would my policy keep you from ordering from Rollin? Karen, The Delivery Diva ShareComments are closed.
